Harley-Davidson of Lake Charles has been in the same location since 1932 and under the present ownership since 1971. Recently the Lake Charles American Press said that we were the oldest business in the same location in Lake Charles. We are family owned and operated for over 40 years. In 1986, we became an exclusive Harley-Davidson dealership. Our building looks small from the outside but actually goes from one block to the other. We only have several models up front but we do have a warehouse stocked. We have a well trained staff, that is Harley-Davidson certified in our parts and service department. The service department has the latest equipment to maintain the superior running condition of your Harley-Davidson®. We offer new and previously owned motorcycles, parts and service. We keep a large inventory of T-shirts, leathers and apparel for men, women and children. Our parts department has a large inventory for early to late model Harley-Davidson. Before taking delivery, we can customize your Harley-Davidson and show you the latest accessories that Harley-Davidson offers -- to give your Harley-Davidson the personal look that fits your personality. The dealership three years in a row has been selected by the voters of the Times magazine as their favoriate motorcycle dealership in southwest louisiana. We are currently expanding and under a full remodel of the dealership.
The dealership has now gotten into drag racing V-Rods. Just finishing his fourth year drag racing V-Rods. In 2006 Billy won two National Championships, Runner-up and fifth in the nation for the dealership. He also recieved Most Improved Racer Award all in his first full season on the national circut. 2007 he entered five different classes on three different V-Rods. He won a National Championship, two runner-up in the nation, fifth and seventh in the nation. He also the 2007 Racer of the Year. During the 2008 season Billy achieved goals that no one else in his sport has done before. He raced in 4 different classes on three different V-Rods with no pit crew. Him by himself. No one else had won 4 different classes at a single event. He did that twice at Reynolds, Ga and Union Grove, Wi. He won 4 National Championships in four different classes. It makes 3 years in a row that he has won the V-Rod/ Street Crusier class. He was voted the 2008 Racer of the Year. That makes two years in a row getting Racer of the Year. 2009 he won two more national championships, three classes 3rd and one class fourth in the nation in six different classes. In 2010 he won 2 more national championships, a runner up and third in 4 different classes. So in total he has won 11 National Championships in 5 years on the circut.
